Reticulated Silver Rockpool Pendant - Small

This beautiful sterling silver pendant features a domed circular disk, which has been reticulated to give the surface a unique, tactile textural quality. Reticulation involves repeated heating of the sterling silver to force a layer of fine (100% pure) silver to accumulate on the surface. Once the pure silver layer is present, the torch flame is targeted on specific areas of the surface, causing the fine silver to melt and form random patterns.  As such, the effect can never be repeated exactly, making each piece truly unique.

Made from 925 sterling silver, and supplied with a recycled card gift box.

The pendant measures approx 2cm diameter, and hangs from an 18in silver chain.
